This is practice in using math objects in Actionscript. Since its December (gosh December already!) and there has been very little snow I thought you might enjoy some animated snow. It falls like real snow, no frame is the same, each is randomly generated as you view it. That's where the math objects come in.

yea i like my song is there... but that's weird 2 same song plays at same time... doesn't work... but nice idea. just put the music out from loading scene. then it's worth 10 or 9...

But the fact that it's just snowflakes spawning really makes it unpassable. :\

the audio wasn't working for me? well im not sure what the song would have been, but what i think would go with this is a christmas song..

Could be much better

They don't really fall like snow, which would have a generally uniform and downward direction. Too much moves sideways and up, randomly against the movement you would want. Also, too much spinning of the elements -- they should spin much more slowly if at all.

You have the random down, but you really need more uniformity in the elements. A good first try, but needs much refinement to make me think "snow".

Each one is unique?

It's a novel concept, to be sure, and I would have liked it- if it worked. As it each, each of the 'snowflakes' only looks like a flickering 8 point star. Perhaps if they were larger we'd be able to see the finer detail, but as it is, anything your math might be creating goes unseen.

The objects to not act like snowflakes, either. Rather than drifting gently to the earth below, they loop and whirl around, seemingly at random. I don't know if this is by design, but it certainly doesn't invoke fond feelings of winter.
