it was good, the music and animation, but i think u should have added somthing onto the end, like death getting ticked at jesus or somthin, but thats me. i liked it though
This is a project for an animation class at DePaul last spring. I was planning to submit it, and after doing the voice work for my roommate on his final project this last quarter, i decided it was time. I spent a little time tweaking it, and added a preloader to get it ready for newgrounds. This was really an experiment in sound syncing, and i think it went really well. The fingering for all of the notes are 100% accurate. I had actually recorded about seven minutes of shredding, but due to time constraints I was forced to cut it down a couple of times until I ended up somewhere around a minute and a half.
I respond to all reviews, so I would appreciate it if you accompanied your score with a review.
Enjoy!

10x!
That was super awesome man!
haha, thanks a lot man. glad you liked it.
sorry....
it was almost perfect.... i didn't like the choice in music much..... if the reaper were to play anything.... it would need definite cowbell.... lets put some good metal in there next time lol.... and make it louder!!!!!
about the music, i chose to record the music myself because i didn't want to use any licensed music. glad you enjoyed it tho
On the fence...
On one hand the cartoon seems to have true care put into it...
On the other hand the art is pretty bad, the animation while inspired is kind of jerky,
and the sound isn't as sharp as it should be.
I would normally rate this a four, however since you did manage to tell a coherant narrative I feel a five is more suitable.
Good luck in the future you certainly have potential!

thanks, i kind of feel the same way, and i kinda wish i had put more effort into the art on it.
Poor Reaper
having a great time shredding and a sleepy Jesus unplugs the power.
Great animation, great music. Thanks.
I know! seriously, who sleeps anyway!?
