Nice looking but buggy
As I said, graphics are nice -- although it would be nice to indicate the two levels that are "locked" in a more obvious way (like graying them out, or putting a lock over them).
But the 1p playing screen is a little cluttered -- I don't think you need a "next" button (you should simply advance to the next game) but if you want to have one, it shouldn't block the score boxes.
I played paper first, resulting in a tie, then rock (winning) but all of those graphics stayed up (the rock and scissors floating "on top" of the two papers.
Also, I think you need to embed the font for the "VS" type -- or if you did, consider using something a little more subtle.
A good start; I'd probably enjoy playing it if you fix it. Thanks.
I tried to like it.
There's some good stuff happening here. The game has a simple, clean look to it and the rules are simple. I would've liked to see some more animation from the objects during the resolution of the individual matches. There's just something unsatisfying about playing Rock Paper Scissors against a computer. The game itself is little more than guessing and there is something flawed with 'upgrading' the objects.
So basically, I loaded this game up and I was thinking "Ob, this looks quite cool". When the skip button didn't work, I thought nothing of it, a minor glitch; what does it matter? Press to play the game, saw the English of a 4 year old. I was starting to get annoyed now. Press rock, oh look tie. Press scissors... wait, nothing happens. Clicking everywhere, still nothing, so I closed it, started again, the 2 rocks were still there. Was confused, but oh well, clicked scissors, rocks didn't go scissors appeared underneath it. Then the entire thing spazzed up on me. FAIL.
I got so mad at me losing so much that i discovered a cheat
!! great game.
if you make a version 2 or something, you should make it to where the object who wins somehow is animated to show how. (i.e. if you choose paper and win against rock, it should show the paper devouring the rock or something) that way it is not as boring. nice quality, tho!
