This game has two levels. It has a few bugs in the replay system, but besides that it's pretty solid, especially considering these two facts:
-This game was written in AS3
-This game takes place on a SINGLE frame
In case you miss the directions, the controls are as follows:
A = Move Left
D = Move Right
SPACE = Jump
Ctrl = Fire (hold to charge)
Arrow Keys = Fire Direction
Esc = Pause

not bad
controls sucks, fix that and the game will be much better.
Hmmm...
The controls weren't very good, and limiting ceiling was very frustrating. And the graphics sucked.
What do you mean by the limiting ceiling?
Meh.
I think it has decent potential as a game. Not coded horribly, but the graphics used were nothing to write home about. Keep it up, practice makes perfect.
Bad controls
The game has a good concept, but I find the controls to be too awkward. Instead of using the arrows to aim, the space to jump, and A / D to move, how about you control both movement and jumping with arrow keys, and use space to fire. I didn't see any enemies that you couldn't hit by firing left and right, and in a platformer, you have generally already killed what's behind you, so there is no reason to fire in a direction other than the one you are facing.
