I usually like these kinds of flashes, but this one just didn't really get my attention.

Not bad for a beginnners...
Too slow. Try to increase the FPS (frames per second) between 24 and 30, use tweens and blurring. Another few things could have been added to make it better, but not bad for a beginner. Also, NEVER use the transform tool to have a character turn from left the right; use additional sprites for it. As well, music may have increased the score.
Giving it a 8 for here, cause it's better than what I have seen before, and also giving a 3 for a score.

I like these sort of flashes to be honoust, i think you should work a bit on the transition of hits, sometimes they seemed to wait a wile before they realised they got smacked in the head by a spike ball :P but 5/5 nice
