This game was made in 24 hours for a college event called Game Jam.
Tayway did all the programming and Arcum did all the graphics.
Kill the attacking pathogens that try to reach the heart. After a few waves of pathogens different forms spawn. See how many waves you can survive though. Hope you enjoy!

Cool game with a health theme. BTW, it's just like playing a white blood cell killing off germs without killing the red ones.

Eh, macrophages are cool, but...

dendritic cells are much cooler! They can basically do everything a macrophage can do, but better!

Yeah, this game is a bit simplistic, but there's potential in the theme (naturally I'd think so, I'm an immunologist!). For instance, macrophages are antigen-presenting cells, which distinguishes them from neutrophils. So they work to activate CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in later stages of infection.

Other cool cells are NK cells, which are so deadly that the body only lets them live a brief time. B cells can produce the complement system, which is basically an antibody-mediated heat-seeking missile.

There's so much potential here for an addicting and entertaining game! Just some ideas.

It's a nice concept and the gameplay is pretty good, though it feels like it's lacking that 'finished' look.

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but the fact that you can't shoot through 'captured' enemies makes the game much more challenging.

Maybe introduce a storyline/ scenario mode to the game where you make progress in the form of missions or something, with some sort of boss.

Inclusion of health for enemies would be interesting, more than one 'shot' to 'capture' them. maybe some sort of upgrade system based on what type of enemies you collect, or each one breaks down into different usable molecules to help you evolve.

maybe make the play area a bit bigger? more moving around so that you don't move just to stay out of harms way, but also to chase down an enemy just out of range.

Overall, your at a great spot to make this into something awsome.
