Euphoric Creations presents...

FALLEN ANGEL - EPISODE 1
Part 3

Here it is at last... the grand conclusion to the first episode of Fallen Angel!

Part 3 didn't quite make the Saturday release as planned (it's 12:45AM... I missed the deadline by 45mins), due to some issues regarding the dialogue in the film. After reviewing Part 3 I found that the voice recordings didn't encode properly, and it took me all day to make them work right. Some of the lines still don't sound great, due to the quality of the mic we used (I exceeded my initial budget long ago, and couldn't afford to buy a legitimate mic), but I have plans to re-record them in the near future when I find a decent mic to borrow.

Anyways, enjoy the film and let me know what you think!

Cool, but the first part of the girl's monologue is inaudible because of sound mix issues

RobsH66 responds:

Most definitely. The recording quality wasn't great either - if I recall correctly, we used a $5 desktop mic under a blanket to record the dialogue :)

Add more Storyline so the series would be fun

Now this is more like it. :O So post-apocalyptic and ferocious... the sound design's on another level too. Feels like the second bit maybe came across a bit subpar compared to start and finish just because it was cut out from the better parts, but then again I also feel there are some loose ends here, like what happened to the guys who saved her? Didn't they save her after all? Did they kill themselves, or more so attack her?

In the end it almost feels like this is still a trailer for something bigger. It plays that way. With glimpses more than a story. But I do love it all the same. Deja vu from looking forward to this finally coming out back in the day: now I hope some day maybe there'll be something even bigger...

Thanks for this though. What a blast.

RobsH66 responds:

Thanks for the comments! The story for this film definitely had some loose ends, and was building to something far bigger and more ambitious than what I was capable of producing back in 2008. But rest assured, there is definitely something much bigger on the way, that I've been working on for many years now. The process has been very slow but things are finally taking shape, and what you've seen here is just the beginning.

The story needs some help, it's very vague and confusing at times. Who is nuking the US? Is it Iran? If so then how does that make this WW3? Not to mention there's little to no chance their archaic nuclear missiles would get past the advanced ABM installations that the US has. If it is Russian ICBMs, then that would make a lot more sense, but then that begs the question, why? Why after all these years of peace between NATO and Russia would they risk MAD just to stop the US from invading Iran?

Story aside the level of detail in some scenes is fantastic, like how the heat wave from the nuke hits before the shock wave. Many big budget films miss that detail and have both hit simultaneously. (Although that does depend on how far you are from ground zero)

It's too bad the series was cancelled.
