Cup o Democracy

Captain Capitalism is back to answer a letter from his secret lair, and tell us all about politics. This cartoon features some redesigning of the character and backgrounds. Wish I had more time to work on it, but this US election, although it seems like it has lasted forever...is coming to a close and I wanted to get this out before voting day.

All of you looking for actual meaning or serious politics in this...I assure you there are none.

<edit: you can find a key for the opening pan and the video games on my blog: http://captaincapitalism.

Well, this certainly holds up. I'm amazed at how little has changed. It turns out the electoral college betrayed us again recently. I vote we get rid of it. Well, my votes won't matter anyway. Wow, was the animation good in this.

I mean, in the wide shot everything looks so beautiful. I know little about most of these issues. Well, I voted for Hillary Clinton. This could have maybe used more jokes. It seemed a little too serious.

i like it. this is funny, the animation was great, and the unrelated satire was great. the only thing you missed about democracy is that it works until the people figure out that they can vote themselves money. unfortunately in america a few groups found that out and are working to bankrupt us, how sad. but you also forgot that in america we have a democratic-republic. which is unfortunately going further and further into a democracy alone. i disagree with the point you are conveying but i like the video.

Best one yet.

This captures my thoughts on the democratic process perfectly...you sir, are an awesome individual.
