EDIT: DAILY 4TH!?!?!?! I LOVE YOU NEWGROUNDS :3 Tutorial collection too! Thanks Tom :D!
Wow. This took a while. You'll see what you mean when you see how much detail i've put into this and how many frames. My proudest work to date. This covers:

Movement
Gravity
Floors
Doors
Walls
Enemy AI
Attacks
Health And Items/Powerups.

Sorry about being weak in enemy AI, i'm not very smart in it :P. Right click for options, and enjoy - I put a lot of work into this :)

EDIT: Added Flash API - be sure to click the ad for me ;D. I like moneh :D.

EDIT 2: I flicked through a few reviews, some recent concerning the music. There is a right click menu with options to turn the music off, to let you know ;).

well it was good

it was good but indeed it has glitches, the guy falls o.O.
but overall its quiet good.

Good job, very helpful

This helped. I had some little flaws in a platformer I've been working on, and didn't know how to fix them. I'm glad I saw this. Thanks!

Need's more detail

It needs more detail. Also, the ground doesn't work right. He falls through, and stops when the top of his head touches the ground.

Enriching

10/10 this enhanced knowledge of stuff I already knew and I learned a few other things, thanks! I clicked on the API too!

Didn't work either

Should of tested it and just followed your instructions exactly to see if it worked, wasn't a complete guide in my opinion, but the concept is great!

The fact that this is the only "complete" platforming guide, as in, has everything you need to make a platformer, makes it awesome. But the fact that even if I followed it step by step and it didn't work, made it less awesome.
