Joining forces to fight intergalactic crime, four of the universe's most famous superheroes travelled through space on their ship until one day they were shot down by their arch nemesis. They plummeted to Earth, discovering a world that lost its groove. The superheroes agreed that the earthlings were in dire need of rescue. They decided to stay and bring "Rock" to the planet, playing Earth's hit songs, unknowing that the planet's atmosphere affected their powers. The super-studs were now super-duds, unaware that their powers don't work on earth.
