As much as I like this game and all of the super-duper hard meta-games that test the sanity and reflexes of the player, I just don't agree with the reasoning behind the game. The main and perhaps only reason why Meatboy and similar games are ridiculously hard is because the controls are deliberately made to frustrate the player with slips and mis-adjusted timing. Games are meant to empower the player with better controls, not the other way around.
That said, Meatboy is still a good game to play. Especially for its humor and will to beat near-impossible. That is why I give it a 7/10.
..if it wasn't for the controls. The game is not that hard because of unfair level design or anything similar, the problem are the controls. Jumping feels really awkward and landing is hard to perform as well as it feels like you would slide around for the whole time, you don't have the feeling that you actually control your character.
I definitely prefer IWBTG as the game was a lot harder, yet the controls were top notch, precise and intuitive.
Controls left aside, the concept is awesome. Intellient level design, cool animations, creative ideas (play a piece of meat!) and the villain...ha!
Can't wait for the release of Super Meat Boy for the PC although I really hope for improved controls.

Nice game, but bad controls, alo you should fix the hitboxes. Other than that it was nice.

The game was AWESOME!!! Problem was that the games controls weren't worth shit, and if they are the best for 360 controllers my question is this. WHY THE HELL DID YOU MAKE A GAME FOR PC GAMERS ONLY WORK WELL WITH A 360 CONTROLLER!?!?!?! besides that the newgrounds logo was horrible placed, and always opened a window when I left the secrets screen. So in all you need to move the logo, and fix the controls or let people choose between whether their using a 360 controller or the keyboard.
