"Karoshi" is a Japanese word and means "death by overwork". In this game many things are not what you'd expect and the goal of each level is counter-intuitive: you need to die.

Each stage presents a new challenge. There are several objects you can use to solve puzzles, and in later levels the game will even break it's own rules to surprise you.

50 clever levels and a boss fight at the end. We hope you have fun (killing yourself)!

If you have played the Game Maker version, YES this is an official Flash version!

Everything about the game is great. It's very original also. The graphics were pretty good... except for the blood. It seems like you got lazy there. Also, you could have made him walk normal.

Other than that, it is a great game. Good job!

Great game.

It's a really fun game, which i played for a long time, it was very enjoyable, and i like the fact that the guy is a salaryman, who thinks about suicide. The blood was sometimes very exagerated, but that was funny, it implemented well in the game. The physics were good too, and the art aswell. Everything was really good and I like the fact that the lives are the levels counted backwards. Music was really good, and so were the sounds. I hope you find this review helpful, and i think i'm gonna continue playing this game. Thanks for making such a good game, and it is welcome in my favorites. You too by the way. 9/10 and 5/5

Very Well Done

This is an innovative flash game I must say. It's pixelated form with modern form is quite nice. The control design is done well as well as the overall artwork and animation of Karoshi. There is a plot hole in this game "since he has the gun why not just shoot himself" however since he's a businessman he has to kill himself to where it looks like an accident. Some levels were monotonous meaning if you goofed up a the end of a level you had to restart the whole level which became tiresome. You also threw in some fun things to mess with our minds as well like putting in the mouse to make platforms and using the mouse as a platform, more games should use this feature. All in all it was a very fun game to play and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
