Golly this's bin on my PC for a while. I came up with the idea late 2007: /bbs/topic/803994
I dragged it up again for the MaxGames contest.

THANK JESUS FOR THE MUSIC AUTHORS. This game is pretty shit without audio. About 75% of it's all downloadable for free on the left o the screen there, all Newgrounds Audio artists. Check out for the rest, it's a damn treasure trove. Also this is the first time I've made my own sound effects for a game. PRETTY SLICK.

Also hey, be aware that this game'll save your progress. All the money, times and stages you've unlocked will be saved so you can come back to it later. Magic init? I remember back in my day- We didn't even have gradients! And you had to type 58 lines of script just to make a movie stop.

Oh, and I've ran out of money. So if you could all vote five on this one, that'd be grand.

This game reminds me an old game: The lost viking. It a very old game on pc and computer. So, you can obtain it in rom snes. This is really more complex than this game the graphic are really better. you can play three different viking with a special ability each!

More than I expected

I don't expect much from these kinds of games, but wow, this one was good.I've got a few things to say about it though.Instead of making the aldders look like indents in the wall, what if you made them jut out a little like real rungs on a real ladder? And buying the next level, while it keeps the game going, making sure that you get every coin in a level, ok addition, but was it really necessary?

And the colours of the guys as well as the background colours. In the first level after the intro(I tihnk it was that one)The black guy doesnt show up well at all.I understand that it's underground, but couldn't you have made them blue and red?Or even better, the same color?

Also, in the itnro, you've got the same thing twice, telling you how to give a boost, I would fix this, cause I had a hell of a time figuring out how to get my blue guy up, when i found out that I can reach over the edge.

So now, let's get into the good stuff.Gameplay is alright, the controls are a little...meh...The severe lack of weapons and hazards is a little firghtening, but that isn't the main point, the main point is that you can work together with yourself.I could keep going on but I don't want to.All in all, good game, but ntohing the get addicted to or excited about.Voted 4.

There are a few glitches.

There are a bunch on shaft, if you put in a menu button that would help, then at least you could go back to the menu instead of refreshing the game. Also, if the music stops the game pauses for a second whenever it makes a sound. Other than that it's a great game.

I-smel responds:

Press enter to pause and bring up the menu.

Good, but too many bugs.

The game itself was good. The Run to the Hills stage in particular was a lot of fun. Only thing I can think of about the game is that it would be nice if the walking speed was a little faster. It would also be nice if you could drop down from the walls, as not being able to made it hard to backtrack at some points.
Aside from that, the main problem is the amount of bugs. At the start of the stage or when resetting, the characters would get stuck in the ground or be grabbing a wall that doesn't exist. When switching characters, it would seem that if you tried to move before the camera stopped, you'd get stuck running in place. When changing to a character near a ledge, he'd keep falling down, making me need to restart at times. In Run to the Hills, with the jumping platform thing, the character stopped when he moved to where the other platform would show up after hitting the switch (I didn't press left). In The Shaft, you could get stuck on the slopes, and making my way past the slope on the right into the blue area crashed the game.

The game was nice, but the bugs really needed to be sorted out first, which would have made it much better.
