Hey, this is my first animation so it's just a short one about a little penguin who goes fishing! :)
I understand that, yes, maybe a fire would be a little hard to light with timber that you cant even get from the artic, but it's just a fun little animation that I tried to make to hopefully entertain you for the short time it runs! ^^

(I also just want to mention that this was all done by mouse which made it quite difficult, but hopefully it hasn't affected it too much! :)

The story was cute and simple.
You conveyed the idea quite clearly but there wasn't a lot of attention to detail.
A bit of extra work on the shadows and lighting and character movement could make this a very cool little clip.
A lot of people draw with a mouse, though a tablet makes things more convenient, the same sort of detail can be communicated with a little more time and effort if using a mouse.

Not Bad
For your first animation its not that bad but its far from anything truly great. It was cute and all but lengthen it and give it some leverage with a story also.

Well, it was very short...and a little random. I suggest you extend the flash, mostly. Maybe work on better animation. It wasn't TOO bad, but it was far from good.
Yep, next time i'll try work on something longer as I know it was incredibly short :) It was mainly just trying to get to grips with all the movement etc.

Not amazing
But fun. I see a lot of potential and I think you could be really good. In fact, I think if you had lengthened this it could be something worth frontpage. Animation wasn't bad and this sure is a hell of a lot better than most of what people submit as their firsts.
