TicTacToe (FTI)

This is my first go at writing a flash game. It's a very simple game of TicTacToe against the computer. It's just a starting point so have a little go and see what you think! It's not going to win any awards but I hope some of you are able to waste a few minutes on it! All comments and ideas are welcome.

Great first try!

Impossible to lose if you know how to play, so don't worry about difficulty criticism. The game is the most straightforward I've seen lately on NG. Let's try something a bit more difficult for your next flash. Alternatively, you can always make a simple game like this a little spicy by adding craziness, or layers of complexity. You don't have to use x's and o's, nor do you need a traditional grid. Each character can be unique, with it's own animation (how about when you drop a marker to block a win, you get a sound and animation referring to that fact...) and sound usually helps, although a few submissions wreck their flash by voicing it themselves. Good job. Spice it up, or make something more complex.

not great

first of all the difficulity settings dont mean much, second it is boring

mm kaykay..

okay but not so fun it is funnier with real paper and a real pencil!

It works

The controls where easy to use and the AI did swom some differences between the difficulty levels. However the best I was expecting to get against hard was a draw not an opponent that i could win against 9 time out of 10 and my victory rate was that low because I kept making mistakes!
Not bad for a first game, If you want to continue the board/pencil game conversions try converting Chess or a type of puzzle from a puzzle book (just create your own designs for the puzzles). I would also like to see the addition of some suitable sound to future releces as I didn't hear any on this one (suitable music) and (suitably placed effects) just remember to add a mute button for if/when we decide we dont want to hear them any more.

Good...

It's good, for a first shot... it's a fairly simple flash but is well done and is a good practice for training buttuns or so...
Good job!..
