I personally would have done a test as well! I think that a 10 is well deserving. Imagine if there wasn't a test done, and the finished project was a complete failure...then there wouldn't be anyone out there saying "oh, did you do a test?" If he were to say no, everyone would still be critical. A test is a TEST and only a test and nothing more...
I respect that you did a test with your pencil and scanner. Even for just a test I thought that it was interesting to see how you perceive art on paper first rather than just jumping into something you aren't too sure about. Nice Job.

You had some really nice movments in there when his head came off perhaps to improve it trace over all images with a fine ink pen then scan it back in it will be much more clear to see to show off your hard work :D keep it up
