Coming back to this after playing EBF5 on Steam, you can tell just how far this little series has progressed since its inception. Yet you can also see the unique charm that was starting to grow in this simple, yet well produced little gem.
I'd have personally liked it if the EBF series didn't stray too far from its gory roots, but I understand that it's not everyone's cuppa tea. And let's be fair: At this point, EVERYONE on Newgrounds was trying to emulate Mortal Kombat's level of violence, so in a way it's nice to see someone going against the stream; choosing to focus on what made their thing unique rather than what was widely popular at the time. In today's PC culture I'd have been more upset at such a change, but... I guess Natalie won out in the end!

Real dope artwork, all around design, and animation. So simple, yet so satisfying.
Oh man this takes me back! I always had problems against Canti.
