where are all the pop culture references?

Poopopolis is a good example of what newgrounds should be about but isn't: naturally funny people who have fun making cartoons. It's not shakespeare and it's not cool, but it knows that it isn't and doesn't try to be those things. It's a short, irrelevant flash cartoon with creative visuals and awareness of its own stupidity; a saving grace common to the internet yet ironically uncommon to ng, the stupidest joke of all.
