The Rise of a KING takes a turn to the role playing genre, but still retains the action from its predecessor. If you havent played The Rise of a Knight, then there is a "Story so Far" section where you can watch a slideshow of what happened in the first game.

Explore the world in and around Stormguard Castle as you start off on your first day as a Knight. Times are getting dark with the current king and many others behaving strangely while more and more dangerous creatures appear, causing trouble all over the kingdom. You seem to be the only one to see the obvious corruption, and its up to you to dissolve this matter...

A well animated game, easy to follow and easy to play. The combat format was really good, making the game easily enjoyable.

However, the game did not exactly pose any real challenges, for me the only way I truly appreciated this game was that it could act very much as a time-filler. I did not really mind the hardness level too much, but I have to admit, it was the same level of difficulty the whole way through the game.

Maybe you could have added ranged weapons like a bow, a teleportation thing to key locations or some way to turn the music on or off, because after a while the music and having to run everywhere got annoying.

A couple things were lame though; firstly the equipment...since there was no ranking, you could easily buy the best stuff first, so why bother with the cheap equipment...this was particularly evident with the weaponry and armour. Next the missions were too few, I would have liked the story to be expanded a bit more or something...

Otherwise a very good game. Certainly one I could play over and over again without paying much attention to.

Pretty good, fun to play when bored.

Pretty good game! I like the artwork. But it needs a map and ranged attacks like a bow.. Can be annoying to face against a couple of those things at the start with the flaming hammers plus a couple ones with the swords and all you would have is one of those cheap swords and a bad shield to start off with. (Well, I ended up buying the cheapest shield, the green cloak thing and the second cheapest sword..)

The reason why I suggested a map is because it would be VERY useful. There may be some people who forget directions or dont ask for directions so having a map is a real good thing for any game like this.

I hate it...

It was a great game but theres two things wrong. First, The better equipment should be a higher price. It seemed too easy to get. And second... WHERE DO I GO??? I have been running around for litteraly (Spelling?) thirty minutes tryin to find this guy after I save the princess. It gave no hint and I looked everywhere...
