Four Square

I had the idea for this game for some time now, and finally got around to implementing it. One of the largest complaints about my previous game, Dots, was that it lacked two player mode. Four square has single player and two player modes. Two player mode requires both players to be at the computer. The goal is to create groups of four squares (2x2). Larger groups are worth more points. I need to polish it up a bit still, but I wanted peoples opinion on the concept.

niiiiiiiiice :D

the game was awesome... some music or sound effects would be nice,
and there is an easy way to own your opponent but the game was great :D

Nice idea

I would have prefered a tougher opponent, as it does not seem to register the danger of creating checkered sequences which allows you to ring off a couple of blocks. Also if you add music be careful about the selection! I would suggest easy going synths or something. Other ideas I had to make it more difficult was a pooled time system for your turn. For example you have 10 minutes that will constantly count down forcing you to play your moves more quickly.

Love It

The AI is excellent it really made me think and who cares for music, just put ur own on, its gonna be better than anything the author puts on because its your own music lol.

I beat it 30 to 10 the first time around and once i figured out the strategy i got 55 to 5 on my second go. :D Great game yet so simple lol.

Not bad, lacks polish

You've already said you need to polish it, so I won't point it out any more. :P The AI was super easy once you figure out how to trick it. Overall, it's not bad. Maybe add powerups onto the board somehow, make some kind of attack, something to spice it up a bit.
Thanks!

Main Complaint:

Total lack of music whatsoever. Aside from that the game was really well made and smooth. And the computer AI wasn't retarded. That was nice.

I know I need to polish it still. Thanks for your input on the game play!
