I was on the plane to Seattle for Casual Connect (a convention for casual game development) and somewhere above Oregon I decided that I really wanted to make a top-down shooting game, so I decided to make a game where you try to shoot as many things as you can in a span of sixty seconds.

A bag of chips later I got my hands dirty with bitmapData and experimented with it. My code teasing continued throughout the week, so this project was two-fold... learning something new in Flash and applying it to a game genre that I really wanted to revisit. So "Sixty" is the result, with graphics that evolve with your success and the thrill of beating your own high scores to boot. The graphics are somewhat wild at times, possibly overwhelming. Enjoy the minigame.
