I was on the plane to Seattle for Casual Connect (a convention for casual game development) and somewhere above Oregon I decided that I really wanted to make a top-down shooting game, so I decided to make a game where you try to shoot as many things as you can in a span of sixty seconds.

A bag of chips later I got my hands dirty with bitmapData and experimented with it. My code teasing continued throughout the week, so this project was two-fold... learning something new in Flash and applying it to a game genre that I really wanted to revisit. So "Sixty" is the result, with graphics that evolve with your success and the thrill of beating your own high scores to boot. The graphics are somewhat wild at times, possibly overwhelming. Enjoy the minigame.

Quality is automatically calibrated. If your computer is in frowntown you can launch as a pop up or try using a different browser.

Controls: Arrow keys/WASD to move, mouse to aim and fire.

P.S. You look fantastic today :)

nice, 1 problem

you never cant make so much score your time will just go up, the problem here is the intensity, you earn more kills if you got more intensity, or the time, make it go to 90 seconds, because it make me my max score just "you are getting better" anyways, to favorite because it got a perfect music

Well it was interesting. I found that if I didn't move at all and just spun like a turret I got better and better scores. In the end it wasn't real exciting beyond that.

simple and fun

good game except i would somehow make where you can move with the mouse cause using the keyboard is really inconvenient

great game, could do with a leaderboard though

got Beautiful Performance! =D
