I love the idea and the basics of the game! Although I beleave itd be better if you put in a warning for when the popper ran out and pulled in the kill line for the ameba seeing as others have said you die even when not touching. And as a bit of extra some sound and maybe a few off set colors long the way would keep it a bit more entertaining.

AKGameworks responds:

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm planning to use pixel based collision dection in the improved version, which should clear up inaccurate collisions. I'm also considering a changing background, how to increase the sounds without increasing the file size, etc..

There's a glitch.

Randomly when you start a game the amoeba will move up and off the screen. Odd glitch.

other than that it was fun, but kind of repetitive.

Thanks for the bug report! I'm not sure why that happens, but I'll look into it!

Good idea

Maybe a little warning for when the powerup is going to turn off, don't like dying when im not touching the amoebas either, granted i was close but damn...

AKGameworks responds:

In the powerup infotext that appears on the top right, it does change during the last second the powerup is active. However, I think I made the change far too subtle. In Microbe 2 I'll make it flash or get bigger or something to draw the players attention. Thanks for the feedback!

I appreciate the comment... I'm still trying to learn how to tune a game properly.
