There are still some glitches, like when mario dies it switches to Wario a bit. But still better

You added a pretty good background, but maybe you should try using sprite backgrounds. The whole half sprite half paint thing won't get you very far. You will be surprised how much better it will look if you mostly use just sprites.

Very good character sprites. You could fix them up a tiny bit, but the controls are in very smooth control with no glitches.

The only other thing I would suggest is that you use an animation after you get the coin coin, like a glitter effect. Besides that just add some more stuff, and be a good judge of how much stuff you add. If you going to add a bunch of stuff, don't submit it right away before its fixed up. We'd rather that you are patient and wait a week instead of making a little update everyday.

I liked the health, as it got annoying that you kept having to restart, i also like that you tried to add a background, it could still use improvemnts though, continue improving and you will have a great game.

(also it gets annoying that you can do the jump sprite while falling...)

Like I said when I rated the test version I had to rate the game itself. This is a great improvement on the test version. The difficulty level is good, the only problem I saw is sometimes you'll completly miss a boo but it will still get you.

If I could rate the improvement just in the lifebar, the background, and the control response I'd give you a 20/10 but rating the game as is. 8/10. Keep working on it, try and see if you can put levels and different backgrounds in and you'll have a 10/10 in no time.

add more characters, better sound effects, and more stuff, and this will get somewhere.
