An insane space shooter with twisted missions and cool weapons!

Pretty good

It was a very good game, ut There is 2 things I found that I took points off for.

1. The noises or shooting got a bit annoying further through the game.

2. The game was fun, but i couldnt find myself passing the second level O:

Really fun

FINALLY! I've been looking all day for a decent game and everything's either been under developed, way too hard, or just overall unappealing and shitty. With that being said, it was fun.

The animations were nice, didn't really notice any hit box problems (unlike SOME games >.<). The visuals were really good, and the various power-up's you got were lovely eye candy. My only complaint here is during some of the higher level's, you have so many power ups and there's so many enemies on screen firing it's absurd. I had to tell where to go from the color of shots fired from enemies in front of me, and HOPE to dodge in into a safer color. Aside from that, it's alright.

Sound was good, but it's in dire need for extra music. Really. I suggest get more music and load it up somwhere for different levels or something. Here's an idea, search for ParagonX9 up. She's got lots of great stuff out here on the audio portal. Other than that, nothing really could be improved. Maybe explosions sounds or something. Idk.

And finally, the gameplay. Relatively a generic space shooter, where you shoot vertically against enemies that come down to you. With occasional power up's of course. It isn't exactly that innovative, but it's still a solid game. The power up's were interesting. At first I thought it was going to be another one of THOSE shooter's, you know, the one's where you only keep one power up and it progressively get's stronger, but when you die, you lose everything and have to start over from the beginning. Those kinds of shooters.

Not in this one. I was surprised to see that you keep all of your power ups when you die, and use them all at once. Also, it saves! Hurray! ^.^ Depending on how you play through out the game, you will get more and more. However, one flaw with this is, I think they only come in certain spots in the game from certain enemies. So if you don't get a certain power up, it'll cost you the efficiency of destroying enemies later on. I finished the game with everything maxed out except for 2 points of the... Purple tri-laser thing? Anyways, it was cool.

Enemies are pretty solid in all aspects, the AI, accuracy, patterns, and scaling in difficulty. Sometimes, I think they get too many attack variations though. One enemy shot like 3 huge blue shield things from each side of it, does it again, then targets you and fires 3 or 4 more green lasers. Nevertheless, I still beat it, so I'm satisfied. Bosses were fun, but some I felt weren't really a challenge. The end boss was probably the most challenging, along with the first because of the fact you didn't have that many power ups at the time, AND he shot rockets that literally covered up the screen.
Yet, I found out a way to beat each. And I guess to those who want a little help on the last boss, here's a tip or two. To overall aoid most of his attacks, just bob from the left to right side of the screen and shoot at it's sides. When it's about TO FIRE IT'S LAZOR try going around it's back if there's room. One hit from it can take down half (or over half? Idk) of your armor. However touching it leads blows up your ship instantly, so try to be a little careful.

I digress. It was fun, but it has it's flaws. One of my biggest complaints is once you get everything so powered up, but what for? You get your last power up, then that's it. You can't even use it. I'd appreciate it if there was some option to start off with all of them to beat the game again to add replay value. But there isn't. Also I didn't really notice much between difficulties. Whatever. And it lacks special weapons. You know, the "hit space bar to use Über special attack or innovative gameplay element to pwn enemies". That kind of special weapons.

Overall, it was the entertainment I needed. Good work, and I hope to see more fun games in the future.
