It was ok.
Like others have said, very difficult.
Suggestion: Make the shield a tiny bit wider. There were too many times when I thought I was going to block, and it would sneak past my shield just slightly and kill me.

if the first couple levels were a bit easier it might be better for game play... i like the idea though
