This is just a submission I made to an "Advertisment Competition" my school is having. We had to make an advertisment for one of the arts subjects that the school offers. These include Music, Drama, Art, Photography, Design, Dance, Painting etc.
I decided to use both the Art and Design subjects in my entry. I wanted to show how things can be brought to life through art. This movie kinda shows that, as everything starts off slow and simple, but gradually becomes more exiting and lifelike!

It doesn't have enough variation.
I fully understand you are a music artist first and foremost over animation, but considering it is one, it must be reviewed like one. The music was good, the animation was good, the color was all good. It just didn't change enough. It was a constant, relatively static animation. It could have had the flower blooming, it growing from a seed, all sorts of things. They all would have gotten across the message and would have had much more symbolic meaning. The flower exploding into color and light in the end was good, it would have gotten half the score without it, but in terms of symbolism, it wasn't that great. Also, with most animations, that sort of thing is expected for most if not all of the animation. Not a particularly good animation but it has enough subtlety and unique sort of beauty to get a 6. It's like having a book with a theme but no actual story, it has its central idea but it can't really be called a good book without something to really flesh it out. It's a school project, so it doesn't really matter that much.

(1. how is this an advertivement ,(2. It is really short and (3. the anim isn't that good feel lucky i gave you a single star

1 - I'm not trying to promote anything on NG, I'm just trying to get feedbak from my flash skills.
2 - I had a maximum time limit of 30 seconds, which I broke anyways.

Well, obviously this advertisment does not appeal to you, but forgive me if I did not have you in the front of my mind when making it. My future submissions will be of a more... "techno" nature ;D

usually... if i think a movie should be blammed, or saved, i only give 5's and 0's, but this one... it called for a 3, 'cause... it was good, but i';m not sure whether it was long enough - i'd say, if you want to improve, that is - make it so that the colour gradually fades in too...?
Nicely done, though - but like i said, a little short, if anything.
