Just push the button. It's that simple. Sounds dumb? It is. Try to get a high score, and it can be really addicting. First person to get to Button-God rank wins a cookie on me.
I originally made this on a TI89 graphing calculator in Math class, and the game turned out to be rediculously fun. Having no way to distribute the programs, I decided to make a flash game instead. To avoid subtracting from the simplicity of the game and also to avoid wasting time on what may very well be a stupid piece of crap, I kept the interface very simple. And if you're sick of hearing that guitar v. piano song, too bad. It's here. I think it's awesome. You can turn it off if you really want.
Also, all graphics and words were drawn WITH A TOUCHPAD using the paint brush tool.
If you have any trouble figuring out how to play, kill yourself. I'm not cool enough to have any kind of online scoreboard or something, so you'll have to deal with posting highscores as a review here.

Cool game and great concept. Just one thing though.......you cheated.....I keep typing to the rythm of the song X D lol.
But anyways good game, I'll be sure to check out the next installment. ; )

okay one issue here
The music you chose. You should probably change it to something more soothing and not something that drills into your head like that when you are rushing to find the key that you have to push. This game really isn't at all about button mashing. It's more a "How well do you know your keyboard-timed trial!" thing I mean i can see how this would work great on a calculator. but keyboards have a much larger area and there aren't 3 things on one key like a calculator. So yeah, um...improvements...possibly some classical, maybe ambient, and err, well, that's about it. Otherwise it's pretty good. oh and change the name, please. Button mashing this is not.

In my opinion, it is buttonmashing. You may not notice it but when you play this game you look really stupid searching the keyboard and hammering buttons as fast as you can. You're right about the music, however. I was too lazy to find a good song to add to this game, so I just added the same song I used for the first game I made and hoped people didn't remember. Next time I'll take the time to find something better.
