Good game but Madagascar closes their shipyards too fast.

(please read before you get angry about the score)

I can see that a lot of hard work went into this, but I don't really do anything. For the entire game all I've been able to do is buy upgrades, wait for a while, and then watch updates pop up or countries turn red.

I know that its supposed to be about strategy, but the only one that works is to get a high infection rate with a low visibility, then once enough people are infected, increase lethality. Which reminds me, all I know about how my virus is doing are those three factors, which are entirely represented by three bars in a status screen. For something so vital to the game, and meaningful in reality, I'd hope for a better way to represent those factors (maybe by giving examples of different people and I can judge how the virus is doing based on how many of them are infected and determine lethality by how sick they look among other things).

Besides just barely being able to tell how the disease is doing, the other problem is that I don't seem to have any effect on how the game goes. For one, my only input is deciding what up-grades to get and when. I don't really know how to improve this though (maybe make it kind of like an RTS where you could have some input on where the virus goes or what it does and you get to do some resource management).

The game is very expertly done, the graphics are great, the controls are perfect (for what they're designed for), but if I'm destroying the entire population of Earth, I'd like to be a bigger part of it, not just sitting, staring at a map and pressing buttons.

Despite its limitations, its still a pretty good game (imo, six IS a good score)

Fun and all...

But how does the world magically know the counter something the SECOND I click a new "borne" type? I make something water borne, BAM! Instantly everyone's handing out bottled water. Or shooting the rats... You get the point.
