Finally after months of development and balancing and testing, Pandemic II is here! I've tried my very best to ensure the game has surpassed the original in every possible way. Now its up to you to evolve your disease, infect mankind and kill them all!

Cool game.

After multiple attempts, I could finally win because the virus started in Madagascar. If it doesn't start there, it appears to be almost impossible to get Madagascar infected...

Very entertaining.

A great game in every aspect, but I was just wondering that why doesn't the Parasite work? I select it and then look at the disease, and it says "Disease name, Virus evolution". I picked parasite, not virus. Wtf? But yeah, otherwise a great game.

Call it a pet peeve, but whenever you click on a region, it'll show the status for "Martial law" and whether or not it was declared, but whenever it does get declared and notified you in the news part, you spell it "Marshal law." Madagascar is absolutely invincible, I'm gonna move there just in case something does happen i 2012 'cause unless I started there, they would survive. I also don't see the logic in closing your borders, ports and airports, giving out bottled water and gas masks when people are infected with no symptoms. They shouldn't even be aware of it. I'm sure this was an effort to stop the infect-and-then-become-lethal strategy, but there has to be a better way. Than giving people a 6th sense in the world of being infected by SOMETHING.

better than #1, but could still be more realistic

Awesome! but i agree that the AI should be smarter. Airports dont stay closed for 6 months if the virus isnt killing anyone. plus there should be a chance that a country could get infected even if everything is closed. cause ppl can still hop the border to potential safety when their country is fucked in the ass by a super virus. it was in brazil, but peru was uninfected and completely closed. if Peru is safe u can bet your ass the brazilians would cross the Amazon just to illeagally cross into a safe, uninfected country, even if it could mean their lives if lethal force is authorized to stop illeagle crossings. i mean, come on, their gonna die ANYWAY.

plus, couldnt the virus just be spread naturally especially through insects and rodents who could cross the border, infecting the populace w/o human contact.

and as the virus starts to kill, there should be random commentaries as even the news people are infected and their desperate cries for salvation echo across the empty globe. it should also show what animals are dying and how much sentient life is left on the planet (obviously no plants insects bacterium plankton fish wales other sea creatures etc, just land mamals)

make the already incredibly advanced virus upgrading system with more side effects and customizable effects, such as the SEVERITY of the symptoms so you can fine tune all the symptoms in harmony so that they are most effective with eachother.
I would like to see diseases that are by-products of the infection like pneumonia caused from sneezing and coughing tuned together, and UTI and Kidney stones caused by kidney failiure when fine tuned in severity.

also, i would like to see increased mortality when hospitals close and populations dwindle. after all, if their are only 1500 ppl left in CHINA, people would by huindreds per hour because there would be no supplies or help for the 1 person per 100sq.mi. when hospitals are open and people are still healthy, they would try to help the dying, decreasing mortality, but when there are no healthy people or hospitals, people would start dying EXPONENTIALLY.

lastly, i would like to see avarage lifespan once infected with the virus in days. i would also like to see a way to mutate the virus enough to make a vaccine null, because it was made to prevent one illness, so when the illness totally mutates, more ppl will get infected.

i dont see how to get the extra traits =/ it just says durable and the type of disease throught the whole game to me, i never get pandemic or anything. i also want the virus classification like in #1, u know, like infection, outbreak, epidemic, pandemic, etc.
