This got front page AND review crew pick!? Thank you, Mr. Tom! And thanks to all who are writing reviews and such. Appreciated. Even if I don't respond to it, you can be sure I read it.

The sequel is finally here. Well...the first part anyway. The little robot finds himself constantly fighting enemy robots of unknown origin, only to find that he cannot even remember his own origin. Still he feels the need to help, and that's where this short starts.

It's about 4 minutes long. This time around the atmosphere's a bit more serious and there's the hint of a story behind the whole ordeal. I've used a couple 3d elements within some of the cuts (primarily the backgrounds). I've spent a little more than half a year working on this on and off, though I've been trying to mold the whole story up since the original came out.

I haven't submitted anything in a while, and for that I apologize. 2007 was a rough year for me and I didn't have much time to animate then. Life has gotten a bit better but I still need to figure some things out before I keep working on Part 2. It might be a while! Anyways, ENJOY THE MOVIE!

Very good but one (minor) thing...

The cliffhanger would probably have a better effect 2 seconds earlier right after the explosion. Other than that, the animation is very nice and smooth, the character is really likable and the story is well told. Can't wait for more!

Looks like this

Great! Cool that the Kid uses Apeture science technology!!

i dont think i can spam enough 5s to tell you how amazing this is!!! the story keeps me on the edge of my seat, the enemies are threatening, and you can tell taht this lil robot isnt an idiot, the combat scenes are genious. PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!

Holy Crap!!!

So I happen to notice the creator of Bonus Stages was voicing the Tracker. No doubt he also assisted on the story/animation, if not you as a writer have fine taste in picking your voice over casting.

The animation was VERY nice and the robots computer data was a nice touch. I think my only problem with this flash is its length, which is much too short. I will however say if that is the what it takes to make a good flash then by all means do not let me deter you. I would rather watch quality work in small amounts than the large, droning redundancy that typically gets the front page, (out of respect for the animators of other flash I will not release names/flash cartoons).

Take your time to make your world, and don't let the ney-sayers ruin your creative edge. To Wilson, loved your work, still do. Hope you were able to branch out with your work, if not, keep trying and stab the haters with glass or something.
