Interesting looking back on this game from 2008, clearly a massive project, and the game is polished.
As someone else pointed out, the resistance system is very complex, and I still can't work out what leads some creeps to be resistant to some treatments. Does each species gain resistances to certain types of antibiotic, or certain categories of them, or is it set in stone for the species?

An innovative maze-building Tower Defense game which is based on real bacteria, real antibiotics, real infections, and real interactions. Have fun and maybe learn something!
Game Instructions:
Cure your patients of their infections! Bacteria enter the screen from the left every 25 seconds and they're aiming to infect your patient on the right. Let too many bacteria go untreated and your patient will die. Build a maze of antibiotic towers to slow and kill those bacteria. Earn money to buy or upgrade towers. Your patient will tell you his/her symptoms to help you plan for what's next. Experiment to find out what works best! Use the mouse to choose towers in your "Pharmacy" and then place them on the game board. The "Start/Next" button starts sending the next wave of bacteria. The "Menu" button will pause the game.

I thought this wasn't that bad. I guess its main fault is that the graphics are not that well done. It does kind of give me a nostalgic feel for what graphics used to be like, but this looks dated for 2008. It was interesting how you provided a lot of facts about bacteria. Granted, I don't know if any of them are true, but it looks like you did your research. I did think it had some good designs, even if it was hard to understand.
Fighting germs is something that everyone can associate with. It looks like there are going to be sequels so you might want to try to take my advice. It's just a bit too hard to follow with that long tutorial. Try to make it more fun by having you act as you go along with it. I guess biologists might like this more.

It's fine if you look at the game itself. I like the concept of using pharmacology so that the player would have something to learn. However using symptoms to predict which bacteria would come out is too complex for players without a background of medicine or related subjects
