DeRoze Picross

Still can't figure out why preloaders hate me...If you see a white screen, DO NOT PANIC. IT IS LOADING. Anyways, we've got a new sponsor: MaxGames. Goat-Man made a nifty little intro with their logo in it. Also changed the background colour to make it a little more spiffy.

Mac issues have been fixed. Nothing can be done about long loading times for the 15 x 15 puzzles.

Seems that me and preloaders don't get along too well...if you see a giant white screen, don't panic. It's just loading. It may take a little while because 7.7 megabytes is a lot...music does that...

Greetings all!

After 5 and a half long months of on and off work, DeRoze Picross is FINALLY completed!

Regardless if you've played this style of game in the past, please read the instructions; this control set up is a little different from other sites and its counterpart, Armor Picross.

Also, forgive me if there's a bit of a lag when going to the tutorial. I haven't the slightest idea why it lags, but it does, so just be patient and it'll all be good. There may be also minor lagging when going to a 15 x 15 puzzle.

If there is a bug or glitch or something, let me know ASAP. It'll take at least an hour to fix because I can't be on the computer all the time, and it takes 46 minutes (at most) to export the game.

A huge special thanks to Goat-Man for significantly improving the graphics of this game.

Please, sit back, relax, and enjoy the game.

:D Awesome!

This game is a very fun and challenging puzzle game. It is good that you have different sized tiles for different leveled players. It was one of those games that are addictive and challenging and sure to make you wanna keep trying over and over.
All that hard work paid off, huh?
I can imagine this getting an award.

If I had waited to submit it in the morning, I'm sure there would have been a better chance, but I can be impatient at times...

On the upside, Goat-Man tells me it made Daily 7th, so it's not bad!

Thanks for the support!

Didn't load up for me, I sat there for 20 min and all I saw was a white screen. Oh wells, from the other reviews it sure sounded awsome so all my kudos goes to you!

Pelemus-McSoy responds:

Heheh! Thanks!

Sorry 'bout the white screen...is your internet a little slow? 7.7 megabytes can be pretty tough to load...s'pose I should mention that in the description...

I loved it.

It was challenging, creative, and very fun. The on/off option for the music is always a good idea, and so is the volume control. It had many different puzzles and different levels of difficulty to draw one back to keep playing. Definately one of my favorite submissions to Newgrounds.

Thanks! =3

I had a feeling the music buttons would come in handy...and have it available to activate/deactivate whenever!

It's very appreciated!

This is a good game, though I would suggest adding "hints" for bad players or beginners

Pelemus-McSoy responds:

Hints...you know, that actually does seem like a good idea...if I make a sequel, using a hint will count as a "wrong", but still give you a random square to work with...

Thanks for the suggestion!

It is a very good game.

I am proud of you for all your hard work on this. I remember beta testing this a couple months ago. The graphics were really good and not too many picross games are on NG. So good for your valiant efforts!

Thank you very much. Not a lot of people understand the hard work that goes into making games, so it means a lot to me that you're proud.

You rock! =3
