"In 2008, the largest particle accelerator ever created, the LHC at CERN's particle physics lab in Switzerland, was activated for the first time. The research obtained from this experiment has revolutionized the way we think about science. Un-answered questions that have puzzled man since the dawn of humanity are finally being answered. Are there extra dimensions? What is dark matter? Is time travel possible? Epsilon Experimental Sciences Research Facility aims to discover the potential of this whole new world of science, and you have been appointed as the primary test participant."

Going with what seems to be the current trend, I've made my version of a portal game. The challenges are based around solving tasks using various fictional technologies discovered as the result of the LHC experiment, primarily wormhole manipulation. Other methods include gravity shift, time reversal, and general cognitive dexterity.

I started this a while back and planned on coinciding it with the release of Valve's Portal, which coincidentally was around the same time CERN was planning to activate the particle accelerator. Unfortunately Epsilon still wasn't ready by the time Portal came out and the LHC still hasn't been switched on, so I decided to leave it until now.

Thanks to Geier Arnold for the original soundtrack, and for tirelessly helping out in the beta testing process.

NOTE: If you are experiencing problems with lag while freezing the ball, try turning off the ghost rooms by pressing G.

Simply amazing.

This is a really well-designed, stable game that's challenging without causing you to tear out hair in frustration. Definitely the type of game I'd recommend to friends, which isn't something that happens often. Amazing job.

Another well made brain-teaser

Its a fusion of timing, physics, logic, and planning ahead. The overall basis is intellectual as well as interesting. Theres so many factors one wrong move or one second too late and you'll have to restart. Its definately a bit of a challenge to complete, but it must have been even more difficult to construct. excellent use of unique functions such as portals, time travel, gravitation, and two way transporters are what make the game so fun. They are expertly harmonized in a way that are definately not found often in other games. overall, it was a interesting experience that played excellently throughout.

Absolutely sublime

That was one of the coolest games EVER! It was reminiscent of Portal, but didn't cling to it at the same time. It had plenty of very well-implemented game mechanics and switched between them often enough to keep things interesting. From a developer's point of view, I was amazed at the last level, though admittedly it was the easiest :P

All in all, amazing game. I would LOVE to see another just like it. I wouldn't even want anything changed as far as gameplay, I'd just love to see a "Map pack" release. You've made my day! :D
