This movie´s only purpouse, except being training, is showning a way of animating sprites. I have done ALL animations in flash with sprites from sprite sheets. Other image editing was made in Photoshop. If you want, you can download the .fla file (CS3) here:

No Sir! I don't like it!

There are two types of flash that really gets on my nerves.
1. Bad flash.
2. Pointless flash.

There you go. Was this some kind of demo or something? Of how to animate a sprite?
Well, couple of things you need to know apparently.
First, animating sprites is not impressive by any means. Its basic allright? And using sprite shites is nothing to shout huzza for either.
But, one thing I can't say to much, how important it is to use sound in your animations. So I'll give you 5.

I would have give you a 10 if it had a point.
Else, good animation, good use of sound. Good use of sound is rare these days it seems. Never underestimate the power of audio!!

not bad for a training,the sounds ere well synced with the movements adn the gunfire looked nice.

i would like to see in the future him blowing chunks out of the wall or something like that and the walking motion looked like it it could some more work(it looked like the looping didnt hold) but aside from that it was well done

Thanks, the sync was probably due to the sound being streamed, but I think it maked the animation loops slow.
Good advice though!

There is not good reason for something like this to get on newgrounds and dont get me wrong the animation was good but it was just so pointless cause it was just sprite anumation without a story or anything...


It was a pretty good demo you should work on the transition from one run to the next it's a little too slow. Also on the jumping the sprite looks like it isn't centered the entire way up the jump. Watch the animation in the game and then adjust the frame timings to try and make it smoother. The end was nice.
