Balls: Too Many

Author Comments

Balls: Too many is a very simple game, with too many balls madly colliding with each other, unfortunately, you're one of the balls, and every time the mad balls collide with you, you loose some of your health, you must must survive these mad balls as long as possible, and collect score bonuses along the way.

AUTHORS NOTE:
This is one of those games that I've coded from scratch. I learned somethings along the way and hope you find this game entertaining.
Your feedbacks and comments are most valuable for me.
Thanks
PS: Don't mark me low saying its stolen from emanuele feronato's site, I had submitted that tutorial to his blog.

I like the funny title. That must have at least been somewhat intentional. I do like how it's easy to understand. At the same time, it's way too simple. It really is just the same stuff over and over. I didn't even know when I was losing health or anything.

The music wasn't bad. It does get redundant. I guess it was well organized. There isn't much that makes this unique. I guess it's not terrible, but you do need to have better graphics.

i dont usualy like this kind of game but its pretty good

hmmmmmm

its an ok game. i don't like games where you have to avoid random things either... but this was fun... im glad there were multipliers on the way and yeah.... it was actually quite fun!
congrats.

Original take on a mediocure game mechanic

Not a big fan of this type of game. Get the object, an obstacle appears bouncing horizontally or vertically; wash, rinse, repeat until the player dies.

But I do applaud your original take on what I felt is a rather tiresome arcade game. Just the fact the balls bounce around dynamically at varying angles and speeds, made it more fun and challenging. Knowing it's tougher than the original play mechanics, adding in a health meter really helped balance out what would've been a overly hard game.

Again, despite not liking the original play mechanics of this kind of game, I do applaud your efforts on giving it an original spin.

Wow,
I really appreciate this.
Thank you.

I liked it. Clever.

Nice design and actually fun. Better than I expected to be honest.

chocolatechang responds:

Good to hear I do better than expectations once in a while :D
