Geek Quest 3

Author Comments

This is the conclusion to the Geek Quest trilogy, a series of point-and-click adventure games I started years ago. Explore the maze and solve challenging logic puzzles to win! Yes, I know it's taken me a very long time to come out with these...

By the way, this isn't the sort of simple game you blow through in ten minutes. It may take you upwards of an hour without cheating and looking at the guide (linked below), and can get frustrating if you don't have much patience.

Anyway, at the end of Volume 2, you've discovered a strange and forgotten land underneath STY Tech, and must find a way out! Putting aside previous concerns of getting into your school of choice, your quest becomes a battle for survival, and a journey to discover the truth.

i found a glitch if u press continue at the begining then the symbols on the wall will dissaperr

quite a good game

i liked the graphics in a starnge way lol. good game play and quite addictive!

pretty good.

For the most part, I really liked this game but the coordination stuff (playing music on the piano and fighting the cyber nina) was too frustrating and annoying to be fun so I stopped playing since I kept getting killed by the ninja. Maybe the rules for that battle just weren't explained clearly enough. Still, most of the puzzles were well designed, though somewhat contrived. I particularly liked the one where you trap the creatures with the cages.

Oh, and how about giving credit for the soundtrack. Mechanical age in the first MYST game, right?

florizel responds:

Thanks for the feedback. The trick with the cyberninja is to click the circles right when the red fills up the border and the border changes color. The window is actually pretty large for when you have to hit them, so you just have to avoid jumping the gun or losing track of the beats.

I mentioned all the games I took music from in the end-screen, but you're right, I should probably add them to my description above as well.

im stuck.

i cant get past the enter the code thing with the dots.
i checked the walkthrough and still couldnt figure it out.
what is the symbol on the wall. the 4 in the box?

great game btw.

florizel responds:

It's a little bit hard to describe this part, but basically there's a picture code on the map that you get in Cyberspace. Once you get the map (after a boss fight of sorts), then press ENTER and you can view it along with codes for directing power via the two power boxes.

The 4 in the box is part of a code which is used on two different keypads in the game.
