Briscas : trick-taking battle game

Briscas, is based on the popular Spanish card game brisca. This Italian variant of briscola, is played by kids and adults all over the world, with dominance in Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Italia and other countries. Although, this version is currently developed for this nitch market, future releases will feature introductory gameplay mechanics that will appeal to new gamers.

The chronicles of Briscas, a war spanning
centuries, brings to you an epic battle of religion, government, militia and armies. Rivers of blood keep alive thousands of souls crying for help. Their pleads did not go unheard, for an old mage sent eyes to lurk over these lands. You've been selected to guide these four empires... to victory or death?... beware the wrath... they'll give you hell before the last sigh.

In this trick-taking battle game, wit overthrows luck. You will enjoy hours of fun playing this beautifully rendered addictive game. Easy to learn but hard to master. Good luck foreigner, in this, your biggest journey yet.

PlayBriscas.com aims to become the one-stop destination for brisca fans, with online tutorials, videos, leaderboards and multiplayer features.

Not played by my rules but..

In my family, you have to play the trump "life" card if you have one and another one had been thrown.

For example:
If the life is gold, and I throw a old first, the computer would then have to throw a gold if it had it. At first I thought this was the case, so I thought that the computer would have no gold. However it did, and won a lot of points from my folly.

It is still a great game!

What's up

LOL, best game ever, last year I was up all night playing with my wifes family, on new years, and Christmas.
Anyway, you can really tell that a lot of effort was put into this! It's really a great game, not to mention, I can now play at work!

I really Like This Game

I spent a month in Spain at the start of this year and saw these decks quite often.
At first the game confused me a little, but I love playing it now. I'm worried this submission will get voted down by idiots who give up with it as soon as they start because its a little confusing, you have to play it a few times to get the hang of it.
Sweet version by the way, keep up the good work
