Great job
Amazing art, thought you could do better on the robot animaion. And BTW I'm one of Casy's students, great job
This was a film project. It took a solid week. The music is a String Quartet cover of Weezer's "Buddy Holly." I hope you like it. Tell me what you think.

nice
Coulda been better(art/animation wise), but for a week this is pretty good. The black and white art(especially the tree), reminds me of a Shel Silverstein book(he is a children's poet).
Where exactly do you find a string quartet of Buddy Holly? Were the quadrapeds supposed to be dogs or ferrets? Nice crow btw.
i hadn't thought about the shel silverstein similarities, but i can see what you mean. if you're interested, there are string quartet versions of tonnnnns of popular bands. if you like radiohead, 'strung out on okcomputer' is pretty great, and there's a pink floyd one out there that's pretty sweet. the quadrapeds are weiner dogs. thanks for the review!
nicely done
good music great drawings animation was a little chopy tho. not sure if you were going for the still frame kinda movement althought the dogs seemed to move constant. anyways great job 10/10 and 5/5. try adding some color shading next time i think it would bring out the realistic kinda view
Could've Been Better
I like the concept and the imagery was very well done, but the animation is the biggest problem here. Being that there is a lack of animation. It was good, but could've been better.
tree!
Please oh please tell me that you're going to work more on this. The background art is beautiful and the concept is really nice. But the animation is so rough and choppy and animatic-like, it sort of ruins the prettiness of it.
Just a little more smoothness, a few more frames to add some detail to the movement would make this a million times better. Like a few leaves on the trees rustling, a few fframes more on the dogs wagging their tails, etc. I can see you've already put loads of time into this, but it'd be so worth putting a bit more in to see it through to the end.
first, thanks very much for the review!
second: unfortunately, i don't have any plans for reworking this any time in the foreseeable future. i know the animation was pretty lackluster, i'm not ashamed to say it--but i'll save the improvements for future projects. this was more of a 'dry run,' to see if i could get some ideas i wanted to express in flash form. i'm happy with it in some ways and unhappy in others, but i learned a lot and look forward to incorporating what i've learned into bigger and better things. again, thanks for the review!
