This is my first submission and the first flash game I ever completed. I was trying to do something kinda fresh and fun, but still didn't want to do any substantial content work (That's also why there is no sound). This is the result: You control a helicopter and need to dodge the cavern's stalagtites and stalagmites in order to advance. I'm actually pretty pleased with what I got now and if you like it perhaps there's gonna be a more polished version.


Technically speaking there's still some rough edges with the Terrain-generation algorithm, which could use some more variation and should also adapt further to the difficulty. As of now the passages get slimmer and slimmer the further you move into the cave. You can also see a flicker of the helicopter every now and then too, which is caused by the technique I'm using to keep the coordinates minimal; again something that could be improved in a later version.


Somewhere around 20000 ("units into") it gets pretty hard, but I'm eager to see how far you can do it!

Ehhh...

13322 was my first try but I got borad and died.

Slow start

Its alright, but what is the point of the first 5000 distance? It only got interesting when the tunnel got smaller and there were pillars everywhere, the first part was just floating along doing barely anything. Played it twice and not willing to sit through the beggining bit again to play again.

Not bad for a first flash, though you could have added some should effects and music. Other than a lack of content, no bad. Keep up the good work.

Glitch

If the back of your helicopter hits something it doesn't break off, or the helicopter doesn't explode. Game wasn't that great.

Yeah it's supposed to be like that, since checking the whole helicopter makes it rather clumsy, so only counting the nose it's a lot more intersting to maneuver. Thanks for the review still.
