Neo Tower Defence is a tower defence game loosely based off the space sim Allegiance. It features a wide variety of towers and support buildings along with a complex research system.
The story so far...
The Allegiance Wars are long over. Since those bloodthirsty days which witnessed the rise and fall of many civilizations, the unrestrained slaughter of soldiers from every faction and the constant race for bigger and better weapons, the remains of the factions of old have formed an uneasy truce, living out their days in a meagre subsistence. Recently, however, scanners jointly funded by the different factions have detected a new threat looming from the depths of space. A mindless, violent alien race known as "The Creeps" have begun raiding lone outposts, destroying their way to the center of the human population: The Home Cluster. Realising the threat of the Creeps is too great for any one faction to control, the past enemies have banded together to fight the alien menace. Setting up advanced towers which have proven to be particularly effective against Creeps, it is up to you to pick a faction and fight for it's survival!
This game has a very steep learning curve. It involves strategy, trial and error and maybe just a tad bit of luck. Good Luck!

This game had a lot of flaws. Although your design and triggers were good, there was still the question of what the spark was. I asked myself a couple times "Why am I still playing this?". You need to keep the player interested in the game. The fact that you added ammo impressed me. I'm always looking for tower games with requirements for your towers to work. That shows me that you worked on that well, but the game still lacked a driving force and a "spark" to really hook the player.

Wayyyyy to many bugs. I was playing, and was about to lose so I brought something, it was like underground or something and I got 200k gold so I was happily buying expensive towers and maxing them out and suddenly I went down to -8k gold. I couldnt buy anything so I sold a building and my towers stopped shooting! You really need to fix this. Apart from that there were still alot of qualities lacking like a change in appearance of an upgraded structure or some explosive effects. Interface was also quite tricky too with the 2 pages of military, research and economy tabs. But I think your well on your way and have good potential. I was up to lvl 67 when that happened so I admit, you got me addicted :P
I give you an 8 because I couldnt stop playing the damn thing :P!
