EDIT: I fixed the sound of the recorder.

BEFORE YOU WATCH PLEASE READ

Three things you need to know...

1. There's a part in the movie that has a loud noise that may scare the weak of heart. Don't say I didn't warn you.

2. This flash was done entirely with a mouse (yes, I know I need to get a template.) so don't expect the greatest graphics in the world. I did my best with the tools at hand.

3. To this day every single movie I've submitted to Newgrounds has been blammed (rightly so since they were crap). If this flash gets blammed, then so be it, but for the love of God TELL ME WHY YOU BLAMMED IT! I can't improve if no one comments on what I did wrong.

Okay, enough chit-chat. Watch the movie.

Well

Where was the loud noise at? I thought it was somewhat funny, but it was alright.

Good work, hope to see more soon.

Pretty good Joe, I don't see how people aren't getting the reference to Curious George, but maybe you could draw the man in the yellow hat more like the man in the yellow hat.

Anyway Joe, you're fucking hilarious. Remember that time you didn't want to put all that shit away so you put it in a shopping cart and put a HOLD tag on it for John Doe, and hid it in the furthest corner of the wherehouse? Needless to say, the manager totally beat your ass when he found out.

Anyway... I love the cinematic quality, the sound is good, I like the interactive controls.

The story is hilarious from the very beginning, but was a weak ending when you showed the man in the yellow hat being killed during credits and no sound. While a cool effect, it is nonetheless tacky to have the movie end while it is playing. Dramatic to have no sound, but since it started out funny, I think I was let down by the dramatic end. Similarly when george is just offed, it was kind of lame because all it showed was him being dead and no real struggle, no joke at the end.

Anyway, keep up the good work, I think we need to see more animations from you. It's hard to say what kind of cartoonist you will become, or what kind of storyteller for that matter. I suggest that your writing should run parallel to your artistry as well.

pissed off

wtf,

1. the tape recorde sound was so low i had to fully turn up my already loud speakers.

2. crappy drawing

3. and crappy story (this movie went for no more than two minutes)

4. i hope this gets blammed

Evil-Joe-Enterprises responds:

ftw,

1. I fixed the sound problem, so now you're down to three complaints...although I'm not sure what a " recorde " is, but oh well...

2. Crappy drawing? Yes, I must admitt my flash animations are quite inferior to the hundreds upon hundreds of front page submissions that you've created...

3. I'm confused...first you insist on quality and then you demand quantity...which is it? Are you saying that the duration of the flash limited the overall experience which you could enjoy? I wish you could have been a bit more specific...

4. Since this flash was submitted on the 18th of April, it has continued to live on. I do, however, feel sorry to let your hopes down. Perhaps I'll notify you on the day of my next flash, and maybe then it will get blammed.

You tried

I liked the curious george-saw thing, had some good potential. Sadly, the whole storyline was...not. For next time, you could try that childbook and gore mix again, but with a better storyline.

not too bad

I didn't think it was too bad. I could tell it was a monkey at least. Also the review below says "half baked". That makes me want to get flash, get really baked, and make a totally stupid flash. thought I would tell you that.
