Two men, each the polar opposite of the other, have an emotional connection in the most unexpected way at the bus stop.

Very enjoyable.

Very nice short, Keeps you interested, and isn't dragged out at all. Very impressive.

Keep up the good work!

MRat responds:

Thanks hah

Now this on the other hand.

I rather enjoyed this one, except for when it ended so abruptly, it could've gone on just a little longer.

MRat responds:

It really couldn't have. The abrupt ending is pretty important to the plot. Unless you wanted to watch them stand there doing nothing for a bit, which I think might have actually been better.

Anyway thanks, this was a pretty experimental little work. I think it went over most people's heads, haha.

I like the concept!

Nice work man! I think it could have been cleaner visually, but other than that, great stuff.

MRat responds:

Thanks, and yeah it definitely could have been cleaner. Honestly, there are a load of things left to work out before I'd say it was "good" but it was a fun excerise.

I liked it alot

you got a nice handle on facial expression.. its a bit.."morphy" the way the frames sorta blend into each other but I think you will polish that off with time.

fun stuff man keep up the good work.

MRat responds:

Thanks. I suppose if I spent more than 2 days on it, and did any planning at all, it wouldn't be morphy, but I'm a fag and I rushed it.

It's cool you like it though, haha.

Better than I could do...

but then again, I don't even own/possess flash. Overall I thought the story was boring, and lacking. I understand the background, but I still don't like it. I did like the character design. The animation was interesting, the camera movement was jerky and annoying. This is simply my opinion, I don't claim to be an aficionado, I'm just giving you my 2 cents as a viewer.

MRat responds:

And I appreciate your 2 cents. This cartoon wasn't going to be for most people, and I was aware of that when I submitted it. Very much something oriented to a niche audience.

To be honest to story wasn't even the point, it was a place holder. The point of this is interaction, that desire for some human contact even when it's awkward and misplaced. I hoped that how quickly the fellow in the red shirt revealed his girlfriend was pregnant with a child not his own would convey that need. I suppose it didn't.

The camera movement was overdone, I admit, but it was jerky for a reason, one I won't delve into at the moment.

Thanks for the review, and I'm glad that you managed to find at least some enjoyment in this.
