The Last Algathian

This is a short sci-fi film that has an intro similar to star wars, and the battles include lazer guns, and sabor swords. The first song (during the intro) is called "Journey of the Sorcerer" by Eagles. The second song (during the battle) is called "Paralizer" by Finger Eleven. Enjoy

Wow...

I really wish I could've been there when you were just going back
and forth pretending to battle with your "lazer guns". I gave up
watching 5 minutes into your epic "Algathian" battle.

(by the way, it's spelled Paralyzer)

Anyways, the only other thing I wanted to ask was, how exactly would this guy's parents send him away, if this virus had already killed everybody else on his planet..? This reeks of lameness.

I gave you a 2 for the effort.

I suggest shortening that battle thing, so that you don't lose somebody's attention who can't be bothered to waste their time, like myself.

ok......

alot of editing had to have gone into the making of this... that being said. it wasnt good editing. i watched it for the music cause i like that song. at least my hope of them both dying in the end came true. was a mix of blade/futurama/starwars/superman just to many mix's sorry.

I like the style

fight takes way too long. if it's going to be that long, make it more interesting.

get them in close range combat sooner. maybe add some rolls, or change of scenery.

you don't have to use the whole song. you can start the fight in the middle of the song, that would sound cool, at least for some songs.

the song doesn't seem to have much to do with the plot/fight, but okay.

I do like the style. if you continue this, keep it in this style. if you do something else, keep this style. it's rather interesting. see what you can do with it with the actors closer and having dialogue.

hmm, perhaps you could act it all out in normal clothing, and then draw crazy costumes over it? that might be interesting.

explore this style, I think it's cool.

Add preloader

Big movies are not good with out a preloader.

What the? Video clips?

I know you can use rastorized images in flash and that it's not uncommon to do so but movie clips? Not impossible I suppose but you way better off using After Effects. You can do the exact same thing only quicker and without the movie lagging every two seconds.
