An action, avoider style game. Pick up the square blocks, some have power-ups. avoid rocks and spikes while keeping away from disk of death.

The controls were a bit confusing at first, getting pulled towards the device all the time and not able to move background. The idea for a game was unique though, a new take on the classic asteroids defense maybe? Nice work!

alright game

that was an alright game. the controls were a little bit stiff and sometimes didn't run great, though it was still alright to play and your efforts were nice. i do think that it could have been a lot better if it wasn't just the circled area... a bit too small and that made it a little more complex then it needed to be.

Not bad at all

At first I thought this game would be extremely repetative, but it's only a little bit. Maybe if you made the ship go faster and make it just a little bit more challenging (before it gets to the later rounds) it would be funner. Other than those few things, good job

Constructive Criticism

Alrighty, it was a well made game, the sound before the shooting was very well timed, giving enough time to get out of the way, however in the later levels I lost track of where the projectiles shot from b/c there were so many. Some kind of indicator for their shootspots would be nice.. Also when the level increases and number of projectiles increase, the formation changes so technically no place is safe if you're too close to the circle to dodge it. Too, there is no significant notifcation that you have reached a new level, so there isn't really a good way to know when to be ready for projectile firing changes.

Other than that i'd say also put your controls into your author comments b/c once the game loads the instructions button is usually ignored for the more fun looking 'play button'. Although once you get in, you realize that theres no specific button to go further away from the circle. Took me a minute to find out that moving around the map increased the altitude. Lastly, I too had a bit of lag on a gaming oriented computer... So it may be something in the code thats slowing everything down by working too hard? (multiple loops running/checking conditions reaaaaaaally fast)

Overall it was pretty good. Some nice background music would've been nice too, but nothing that would be too ditering as to make you not hear the firing warning. Good game man, keep it up.

Don't hate me too much,

no hate lol, its good to hear that some people like it.The criticism here is much more helpful than the AddictingGames critics lol. the reason for the lag is because i move all the spikes that border the circle individually. my computer is several years old (37 gig hard drive if that tells you anything) so i expected it to run the game a little slower, but on more modern computers, i didn't see much of a problem really. i'll work on a better way of moving them. Thanks for the ideas!
