I've always loved the sound of artificial voices. They've got some strange appeal that I find interesting. So, about a month ago I discovered that OSx for mac has a text to voice synthesizer built into the system! --With loads of unique (and really weird) voices to choose from... I had a load of fun making the robotic voices say vulgar things and was inspired to actually write something up and create an animation for it.
This was really fun to make and I do think it's a good cut above my past works, hope you enjoy!

How did you get it to sing on tune? And do they really include vaguely russian-sounding accents in the text to speech translator? How bizarre. LOL.

yeah, it's so crazy! The artificial voice program gave the voices personality.. There were also some singing ones.

Maybe next time have a robot "dispute" with robot mom jokes... similar to the speaking in surround sound. But it seems like the next logical step would be a dance-off!

Ahahaa, I liked it a lot. The corny momma jokes made me laugh, especially that flesh eating disease one. I had to share that one with my friend. The animation was pretty good, it was fun to watch.
