The Ratty Game is a parody of Super Mario Bros with a comedy-drama plot, inspiring fight scenes and unlockables. The story is that a two-year-old blue mouse named Ratty is given three little coins to look after and is asked not to talk to strangers. However, he bumps into two thugs ('We're not strangers, we're thugs') who con him out of his money. Ratty beats up the thugs and runs away.

I have been working on this game since Hallowe'en, but wasted a lot of time working on other projects and deciding what to do with this game.

The game takes roughly a dozen minutes to play, with a cutscene that's just over a minute long and three short unlockables.

I am making a sequal which is darker than this one and is inspired by games submitted on Newgrounds during the late 1990s.
