This was a movie I made about 2-3 years ago for a contest, that I didn't win. So I decided I should submit it. I had to take the music out because it was not royalty-free.

Looks fine

You can get a good grade if you show it for your nature class. I like the way you animated it, also that you did't add sound to it(could be disturbing). Hehe you know it don't come CO2 out of the pipes of a nuclear factory it's actually steam, I can remember I did read that from a internet page.

But keep up good works like these!

Sawfish responds:

Yes, because the Uranium heats up water (steam) which spins a turbine and goes out the top.

False Facts

I can understand what you're trying to do here. Overall it's a positive message of finding alternative energy sources, but your portrayal of the US. vs Europe and the facts provided is somewhat one-sided.

For starters you provided seperate information for each country. Germany this much. France this much. BUT YOU FAILED to mention that the US is larger than those countries mentioned COMBINED. It's hardly a fair comparison.

You also didn't comment on the several different US organizations already tryin' to promote and implement these changes. Perhaps you should provide links to those sources instead of just saying, "PLZ hALP t3h 3aRTHS, K?"

But other than that I DO WHOLY appreciate the effort you took in making this and trying to promote the message... so...

Sawfish responds:

For the competition that I entered this in before, I needed to compare two communities, and Europe and the US, were the one's I chose. If you read the conclusion, I simply state that the European Union (various countries) are each doing good things, and that we can learn from them, not that we are not doing anything to prevent pollution. If you want the links, I'll put them in at the end...

My opinion

The animation was great (shame about the sound) but heres my speech about pollution and stuff:

Sure i be leave that we should use more cleaner methods of making power (the air in some countries is terrible) but when the government tries to mix it with climate change i am not won over. The earth has seen things (the ice age for example) that involve the climate drastically changeing but in most cases - ice age - power wasn't even around. I mean don't get me wrong i don't want to get reduced to a pile of ashes by the sun or get drowned by a tidal wave hitting my house but we should all stop panicking about whats going to happen in years to come. Live in the present, think about good memories in the past and relax and wait for the future. Anywho, i think thats enough writing about one movie.
