Also, yeah I know it could use more music during all the dialogue, but I was running close to my deadline of releasing it yesterday and I wasn't happy with how it sounded with various music added, so I left it without music since it was better off (also, music doesn't always have to be playing to keep you entertained, but that's just my opinion).

Again, thanks for front page and thanks to all the people who enjoyed this =)

Ok, this is the first part of a 6-part animation that I'm going to be releasing over the course of the next 3 weeks (2 parts per week). The animation is completely done at this point, but I need to buy some time (and add to the suspense) by releasing two per weekend. I'm currently working on turning it into a DVD that I will make free for download on my website.

The total animation time (when it's fully released) will run about 23 minutes. This project started as an educational experience so I could learn to animate in Flash better and as such, you'll notice that after parts 1 and 2, it gets much much better (and continues to get better till the very end).

This isn't to say that parts 1 and 2 are bad by any means, but they are heavy with plot (so it can set up the rest of the animation). I've spent 8+ months on this entire project and I sincerely hope you enjoy the life that I've breathed into the Lolcats.

Alright ^_^ but could be improved

Ill admit certain references to the lolcats on I CAN HAZ CHEEZE BURGER are good
eg: monorail cat, and happy cat (who doesnt look to happy here :S) ceiling cat coulda been used a tad better rather than that :(
Umm other than that the voices need some work
mabye make some characters sound a tad more sereious?
And look for some of the more memorable cats from I CAN HAZ CHEEZEBURGER
like OMG its a lion cat or mabye the "meer cat immitations"
oh and mabye if your considering having an evil overloard at all in the series you so need to use the famed "I hate everything cat" >:D
other than that you doing fine
this did make the front page of NG ^_^
so good work
Rember :P voices in some cases need to be more serious, and mabye add a few more cats even just in the background of a few scenes EG: I made you a cookie cat selling cookies in the background of the town square thing =]
I look forward to the next one

a word out to other people reveiwing:
Sure not all flash productions meet the expectatons of some veiwers
so said veiwers should suggest something that can help the guy out with the next 5 XD

jiggitysmith responds:

Ceiling Cat actually will make an appearance (a hilarious one at that). That's just how 'God' was translated using the Lolcat translator, btw.

And yet again I keep telling people: the first segment is the worst one out of the series because the whole project was intended to be a learning experience.

The reason Orion isn't serious ever is because he's the most bland character out of all of them and isn't a real Lolcat.

As far as "Hey you didn't include such and such a cat" (wait till you see the whole thing). Also, there are so many different Lolcats that it would be impossible to include all of them. BUT! After this 6-part story is fully released, I might revisit the Lolcat universe that I set up and do unrelated side stories with some of the Lolcats that I missed.

Thanks for the review btw :)

ZOMG! Hah, monorail cat cracked me up. Classic. I hope that in the other versions we'll see many more of the mystical lolcats! Especially the "excuse me wtf r u doin?' cat, or others just as exciting. Hah, has anyone seen that hilarious Hannibal Lector cat, that says 'Well now Clarice, hav teh lambs stopped screaming?'?

If you want an idea where I'm going with this in terms of entertainment value, I'd recommend viewing the preview to part 3 that I have posted.
