The Heart and the Hand p1

Glenn gives Annie a drawing she likes, winning over her heart. Annie spends the rest of the day trying to coax Glenn into romancing her. Unfortunately for her, all Glenn wants to do is draw.

While it's loading, you can read character bios and look at a drawing I did of them. Once loaded, you can either watch the entire animation (5 minutes long) or select a scene to start from, as usual. This is a LOT more light hearted and cutesy than most of the stuff I've done in the past. It's also very music-driven. Keep these things in mind when watching. I also hid a scrapbook in there, SEE IF YOU CAN FIND IT. Well, it isn't THAT hard to find, but it isn't in an obvious place.

EDIT: I said the second part would be done soon, but as anyone can see, it isn't done yet. Hang tight, it's coming.

Everything in this animation, including writing, directing, animation, music, and all the male voices are done by me. Annie's voice is supplied by Rina-Chan.

Hope you enjoy, and feel free to leave a review! I read them all.

liked it

Liked the style and how yo told a story with hardly any words, but was she supposed to be his teacher? o_O; I hope Im supposed to see it differently lol

Bobert-Rob responds:

No, she's fellow student. She'd be kind of young for a teacher, wouldn't you say? Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the review!

where is this strange school where no one does anything but make crayon drawings, all of the students look and act as if they were anywhere from the ages of 8 to 18, and people speak in words only occasionally? it must be a curious and magical place, indeed.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Quite really. And it's an art class, so they should be working on whatever assignment was given to them. Probably involved crayons, but not just random doodles. Of course, Glenn and Annie aren't working on their assignment, as Glenn's a slacker and Annie is too fixated on Glenn. Glad you enjoyed it!

While that was funny the style was great! I hope p2 comes soon!

Bobert-Rob responds:

As do I, it's going to rule. Thanks for watching!

Hope for the World Yet

I enjoyed how the style changed here and there; it didn't seem to be trapped to telling the story in just one way.

The storyline is interesting because it is not really predictable. I appreciate the surprises that keep popping up.

I look forward to the next part!

Bobert-Rob responds:

Awesome, yeah, I tried to spice things up a bit here and there and keep it overall creative. Glad you noticed and enjoyed all that. Thanks for the review!

Very nice animation

They looked a litttttle old though which was confusing, I got the impression from the story and the way they were acting everyone was quite young... but really didn't look it. But hey nice work!

Bobert-Rob responds:

They do act younger than they are, especially Glenn. I'm trying to keep age from restricting their personalities, though. They just enjoy life too much, heh. Glad you enjoyed the animation! Thanks!
